Looking for ideas for 2021!

Is there a speaker you've heard recently that you thought would have a lot to offer the members of our chapter? Is there a topic in the insurance industry that you want to know more about? Have you attended any social events, virtual or in-person, that you think would make a great way for our members to network and socialize?

We are always open to ideas and suggestions for topics and speakers for upcoming meetings or social gatherings. We're also planning two Good works volunteer events this year, so if you know of any local organizations you would like to see receive attenion from our chapter we would love to hear about them.

January 2021 Board Meeting

Our chapter leaders met 01/14/2021 for the first board meeting of 2021 to review the budget and begin planning the calender of events for the year. In attendance were Hollie Abbott, Craig Tappel, Joanna Loyed, Doris Dunn, and Brian Harris. 

Topics discussed were ways to maintain and increase membership, increasing chapter presence on social media, the establishment of a scholarship at Middle Tennessee State University for students in the Risk Management and Insurance program, how to safely hold social gatherings, and possibly collaborating with other chapters to co-host events and meetings.
